Write Your Story — NOW

If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s taught us that life is short and unpredictable.
You’ve been thinking about writing your story. You just don’t know how to get started. This workshop is designed to give you the kickstart you need to put your plans into action.
Award-winning, best-selling author Lori B. Duff will help you — from the comfort of your own home! — learn how to write your own story in a readable, entertaining way. We will talk about topics such as story, craft, inspiration, writer’s block, and finding the time to get it done. With a few down and dirty grammar tips while we’re at it.

What are you waiting for? WRITE YOUR STORY NOW!!
People approach Lori all the time about how they want to write their memoirs and tell their stories, but they get stuck. Usually, they get stuck in three different places:
- They face a blank page and it scares them to death so they don’t even start.
- They get started, but then find themselves wandering aimlessly, or aren’t sure if they are going in the right direction, so they give up.
- They have written down some of their memories, but aren’t sure how to weave them together into a coherent theme or narrative arc.
Lori designed a workshop to help you face a blank page without fear; to figure out what your story is really about; and make sure it has a beginning, middle and end that will draw in readers. The workshop will be held via Zoom on March 13 and March 27, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. EST and will cost $275.00 per person.
The class is limited to 15 people so everyone’s voice gets the attention it deserves. Afterwards, you’ll have access to an exclusive Facebook group to share your progress on your memoir, bounce off ideas on your new-found writer friends, and get inspiration.
You’ll get a list of books to read to help you along your journey as well as a host of materials and tools to assist you. Not to mention the laughs we’ll have in the process. (Lori won the Foreword INDIE Gold medal for humor and the National Socieity for Newspaper Columnists First Place award for humor. This will be no dry seminar.)
